Ivan Lindsay with Constantine Lindsay
An early Christmas card circa 1996 with brother Constantine, my partner in the Lindsay Fine Art Old Masters business, shot in Fernshaw Mansions in Chelsea, London, our then office. The paintings are: - on the left Hobbema, in the middle Goya and on the right Canaletto. All three of these important pictures came with their challenges but were sold within a few months of this photograph; the Hobbema went to New York, the Goya to Madrid and the Canaletto to Zurich where they remain.
